In addition to the premium in-home care services Adia provides with our caregivers, we now offer Adia clients the opportunity to participate in our Furry Friends program, an all-volunteer (both human and animal) program serving Adia families. The mission of Furry Friends is to enhance the quality of life and emotional health of those we serve. The interaction between humans and furry animals encourages interactive communication, reduces feelings of isolation and increases feelings of LOVE in the hearts of our Adia families. It's a win-win! We love our Furry Friends.
Here are Adia's Furry Friend Team leaders:

George Arquette
George Arquette is an 11 year old yellow lab and is exactly what you would imagine... A big lovable bear. Sometimes he can be naughty (in a good way) and will do just about anything for a cookie. George loves people and new adventures, and he's also an actor! He can't wait to play the leading role in your home!

Brody Tatum
Brody Tatum, a three-and-a-half year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was born in Georgetown, Texas. He immediately befriended Cherice, with whom he now shares a home in the South Bay. He prides himself as Moon Tide Media's office pup and is sure to properly greet the staff each morning with his signature kisses. Brody is a natural Gemini with a good nature, spirited personality and ample charm. He enjoys a strand run or walk, unexpected snacks and a warm place to cuddle at night.

Fred Arquette
Fred Arquette is a sweet, gentle six year old yellow lab that is extra grateful considering he was rescued from the pound. He is handsome and loves all people. His favorite thing to do is to roll on his back and get a belly scratch. He loves to play fetch and has a contagious smile. Fred can't wait to see you!

Taluce Radine
Taluce is a Shih Tzu who was born in July. She loves to play with her older brother Brewsky. “He’s the best!” exclaims Taluce. She follows him all over the house and loves to give him kisses. She loves to cuddle and sleep in people’s laps. In her spare time, Taluce is working on perfecting chasing her own tail and goes in circles until she collapses from exhaustion.

Brewsky Radine
Brewsky is a gentle soul who loves going in the car to visit people. Brewsky is lovable and sweet. When he meets you for the first time, he will bark and wiggle in excitement. He is a 10 year-old Silky Terrier. He still gets around for an old guy! His sister Taluce keeps him on his toes because she is always chasing him around.

My name's Tucker and I'm an 8-year-old Norwich Terrier, a rare breed indeed. I'm really cute and cuddly and very curious about everything around me. I can perform one trick and that's it-and I only do it if I'm offered food. But I do love to meet new people and go on walks to see what's new in the neighborhood.

My name's Wagner and I'm an 8-year-old Norwich Terrier, pronounced Nor-ich please. My brother Tucker is not as smart as I am and will often fall in our fish pond trying to catch a fish-he hasn't caught one yet! I am very affectionate and will climb up on your lap in an effort to get my belly scratched. And if you stop, I might encourage you with my cute little paw. I love meeting new people and can't wait to meet you!

Redford Ames-Elms is handsome buff-colored America Cocker Spaniel who turned just one year old in August. He was adopted by his new friends-for-life Preston and Darren this spring and now calls the Hollywood area home. A true people person, he won't turn down a pat on the head or a rub on his tummy. He loves romping outside, taking long naps in the afternoon and playing with his favorite toys...which there are many. True to his name, he's a natural charmer and great with the ladies.

Terms: Furry Friends cannot be transported by Adia families to another location. Adia Personal Care Assistant must be present when Furry Friends visit. 30 min-1 hour visit free of charge.
