All of our training is in accordance with the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Alzheimer’s Association and our experts remain on top of the healthcare industry trends. Carol Hahn, RN, ADIA’s Director of Integrated Wellness and Elder Whole Body Fitness is an expert in dementia and a member of the Alzheimer’s Association Speaker’s Bureau. She has been an educator in hospitals for more than 20 years and provides experienced dementia training to all ADIA caregivers.
We are known for providing outstanding care to our clients affected by dementia, including situations involving challenging behavioral issues. ADIA gives clients the care they need in sometimes the most difficult situations with dignity, civility and accountability. We work with geriatricians, neurologists and geriatric psychiatrists to provide the best plan of care specific to the individual.
ADIA offers free support in partnership with local organizations such as the Peninsula Seniors of Rancho Palos Verdes. Free educational presentations on different aspects of dementia are also available through our Corporate Education, Information and Kinship department. As part of our commitment to the communities we serve, ADIA is corporate sponsor for several non-profits focused on supporting older adults.
