It’s not often that two caring people come together to share a passion for enriching the lives of older adults. We, the founders, Nick and Pamela joined forces to address our general dissatisfaction with the quality of the current in-home living assistance services available.

Each of us has personally grappled with the daunting task of providing care for someone in our family in their time of need. We wanted the best for our loved ones and were only disappointed with the quality of care that was available. We sought out organizations that would not only care for our family members’ basic needs, but would also understand their hopes, concerns, and dreams. Nothing like this existed, and we knew we could do better.

The two of us formed a powerful union that draws upon our strong educational backgrounds and extensive work experience. Collectively, we have held executive positions in Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies ranging in industries of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and entertainment. As entrepreneurs, we have been in the Assisted Living Services, and have held professorships at USC, UCLA, and Azusa Pacific University. Speaking engagements include Harvard University and Oxford University

While our business credentials speak for themselves, what separates us from all the other in home care services in Southern California is that we believe in giving our clients MORE –- on every level. We know there is a huge gap between today’s current care, and the truly premium level care that Adia provides. We take pride in the fact that our Personal Care Assistant undergo extensive training – training them the ADIA way – bound by the governing principles of Adia:

· Integrity: honoring your word, and doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it.

· Trust: living a life of integrity. Our caregivers are screened thoroughly, and trained extensively. We don’t hire the cheapest, we hire the best. We don’t use contractors, we only use Adia employees so you can trust the person that comes into your home. You can trust that the founders stand behind their word, and the Adia service.

· Respect: all management, employees, and clients will be treated fairly, with respect, and dignity always.

· Compassion: great service starts with the heart. We work to demonstrate empathy and treat our clients with love and understanding regardless of their circumstance.

We invest heavily in our Personal Care Assistant and as a result, you get to see the difference in our service.

Inspired by our own personal situations, our heart and focus is in helping older adults, but it certainly doesn’t stop there. Both collectively and individually, each of us has been involved with numerous non-profit organizations that help people of all ages on a national and global level.

Two years ago we founded a mentoring program for children whose parents have been affected by cancer, Walk With Sally. We have also sponsored or co-created events whose beneficiaries have been the Leukemia Society, Prostate Cancer Research, Breast Cancer, and Shelter for Seniors. It is this call to enrich the lives of those around us that allows us to produce extraordinary results, as is evidenced with Adia, and all the people we touch in our community.
